I paid twice for the same audiobook

Open Account → Purchases, find the transaction and choose "Request a refund", selecting "Duplicate payment". We check both transactions against our records before refunding.

I bought an audiobook by accident

Ask for a refund from Account → Purchases within the refund window. If you have not opened the title, it is normally approved straight away; if you have listened to it, an administrator reviews the request.

An audiobook will not play

First try another chapter or another browser - playback problems are often local. If it still will not play, request a refund with the reason "Technical problem" and describe what you saw; we fix the cause as well as the payment.

How do I cancel my membership?

Account → Membership → Manage membership. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Books you bought individually stay in your library.

My membership renewed and I did not expect it to

Memberships renew automatically - the renewal terms are shown before every checkout and in the confirmation email. Contact us and we will review the renewal; where a renewal was not reasonably foreseeable we refund it.

I do not recognise the charge on my statement

Please contact us before raising it with your bank. Charges from Wisdom Audio Bank appear with our trading name, and a bank dispute takes weeks and cannot be cancelled once started. We can usually resolve it the same day.

What happens when a payment is disputed with the bank?

We are notified by our payment processor, assemble the transaction record, the policy you accepted at checkout, the delivery record and the listening activity, and respond with the facts. Access to the disputed content is suspended while the case is open.

Will a refund remove the audiobook from my library?

Yes. A refunded purchase is removed from your library and the creator royalty for that sale is reversed, because the sale no longer exists.
